As a rule of thumb, brush sanding generates less heat, creates a “softer finish” and offers much longer abrasive or brush life as compared to wide belt sanding, while wide belt sanding offers more aggressive stock or contamination removal.
The SuperBrush 36 x 2 offers a full range of brushing from all angles in a single pass with counter rotating and variable speed brush heads. The conveyor feed rate is also double the speed of single head brush sanders, making this model up to 4x faster than single head models.
